Editorial Notes: Please keep in mind that the two schedules below are examples and may not be reflective of your all the responsibilities you have. Additionally, your work schedule may not be regular if you have a part-time job. A fluctuating work schedule will make it more difficult to place God at the center of your life. Our recommendation is to try to secure employment that provides you with a predictable schedule or strive to become self-employed. Do not let financial needs deter you from putting God first in your life. God will bless you if you make Him the center of your life.
Compare the two schedules below carefully. The first shows a schedule that contains minimal time for God and the things of God. The second schedule sacrifices sleep to incorporate ministry work and additional Bible study time. Keep in mind that a ministry is a service to others. Ministry work does not have to be incorporated. The work Peter, John, James, Paul, and others did was not formally recognized by the government. As you build a God-centered schedule, dedicate some time towards helping others spiritually and physically.
