The Gospel in the Synoptic Gospel Accounts

In September of 2019, I published a list of verses showing the gospel message preached by Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. I committed to publishing a list of verses identified in the New Testament, so today I am following through on that commitment.

Though I have published infrequently over the past few months, I am still committed to preaching the very message of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible. In addition, I am committed to expanding the types of content that will be freely published on this site. In the coming weeks, a series of video messages are schedule to be produced. In addition, new bible studies and pictorial presentations are in the works. The planned content will be generated from the list of verses published in September and today. While these things are being created to help guide you in studying the word of God, I want to encourage you to study these lists on you own time. The 2 Olive Trees is just a resource. Your relationship with God is your responsibility and requires due diligence.

I would like to remind you all that walking with God is a process which requires us to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:18). If you are watching current events, you can see that these days are growing darker. Know that God has promised to save those who endure until the end (Matt. 10:22). We all must learn to remain steadfast and earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 3).

Be certain that you put forth every effort to draw closer to God rather than conform to the ways of this world. Remember the gospel message is God will establish a kingdom on this earth and do away with the evils of this present age. Jesus will be the King of that kingdom and God has promised that the faithful will be joint-heirs of the Kingdom (Rom. 8: 12-17).
